Oh Happy Day

Not sure what to say since it has been so long...
Here are some cute pictures of the girls - several of which I have taken as we get ready for school.

Avery is close to crawling, but really just lazy. At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if she just goes straight to walking.  She also got a tooth.  Her 9 month doctor visit was good.  She is 27.5 inches long and weighs 17 pounds, 5 ounces.  She is much smaller than Kendall was at this age (nearly 3 pounds) but she is doing great.  She is almost always happy and rarely ever cries.  She is starting to babble a lot and I am pretty sure she knows that I'm 'momma.'
Kendall is doing great. While we have been working at potty training for some time, with small victories along the way.  I think (knock on wood) we may have turned a corner.  She spent nearly all day today in big girl underwear and used the potty 3 times.  We did have one accident, but even her teacher Ms Joni thinks she may be ready for underwear at school.  I guess is just goes to show that it happens when they are ready and persistence does pay off.

Beyond that we are doing well - watching lots of football and making plans for the holidays.

Fortnight

Well since I am the only one up this fine morning at 5 a.m. - perhaps a little blogging is in order.

It has been awhile since the last post and I really can't even remember what's happened...but here goes my attempt to recall the last few week's events.

Grammy came to visit in early August for a few weeks (along with Aunt Teri for a few days), Gma/Gpa Redmond sold their house in TC and moved half of their belongings down to SC, Aaron and I celebrated - well if you can call not speaking for a week celebrating - our 7 year anniversary, Avery started daycare while Kendall returned to daycare (not one single tear might I add - at least from Avery anyway), Avery sprouted her first tooth, Aaron started a new school year, President Obama asked EPA not to reconsider lowering the ozone standard (okay feel the need to explain this is job related and has BIG ramifications to the economy, air quality, and my daily life), football season officially started with a CMU win (Go, Fire Up, Chips!), Great Aunt Mary Jeanne passed away, sister's SIL had her little girl, Lilyana 8 weeks earlier than expected (both mom and baby are doing well), I am recovering from a lovely summer head cold, friends the Dollars welcomed their baby boy, Landon to the world, Kendall celebrated her friend Kate's 3rd birthday party...I am sure I am forgetting things - but, that about sums up the last few weeks.

Okay, time for coffee!
