Downtown: You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares...
Always fun - a trip to Home Depot for the kids workshop. This time the girls made tool boxes.
Next up - a trip downtown Columbia to visit Pete the Cat. Avery was so very genuinely excited, she ran right up and gave him/her a hug.

Life's a trip so enjoy the ride.
Kendall and I made it to the polls.
A birthday trip to Charlotte for Aaron and I where we got to try a new place - BurgerSushi!
Avery was one of the stars in the Kindergarten school play about Thanksgiving!
Avery's self portrait.
Grandma Rose and Grandpa Bob hosted Thanksgiving at their new condo this year.
It was delicious!
We rounded out the weekend with a great trip to Sesquicentennial State Park.
Avery ditched her training wheels - still needs some practice before she is road ready.
Trick or Treat 2016
Aaron and I made it my first-ever USC Gamecock football game. It was a fun date and I can check that off the list.
We followed the game by a trip to the SC State Fair - no fall is complete without it.
This year the girls were a bit more into the rides - they even tried a few roller coasters - we almost lost Avery when I stopped paying attention and she nearly slide out of the seat. We followed this up with yummy food and more rides - Kendall and I on the high flying swings and Daddy and Avery on a scary spinning ride that was a bit out of her league.
No trip would be complete without taking in the pig races - after a trip on the overhead tram.
We made quite a family team. I tried to convince daddy and Avery to follow our lead and go as Harry Potter characters, but they were having none of it.
