The other Happy Place On Earth.

We made it home to Michigan this past June/July to celebrate the 'year of the Denjas,' Grandma Alice's birthday, to visit Drummond Island, and camping at Pokagon.

Visited a rare biome (Maxton Planes) on Drummond Island for the first time ever - I think these looked like Truffula Trees.
 Lots of fishing!

Weekly Bingo were the winnings come in the form of baked goods!

Recitals All Around

Dance Competition at Lexington High School
Second Grade Field Trip to the Riverbanks Zoo with Kendall's teacher - Mrs. Rude's class

Annual end or year dance recital!

Kendall's first ever piano recital. She played Shoo Fly and one other song.
Her teacher is Aaron's past colleague and car pool partner - Mrs. Michael.

Holy Cow

I was lucky enough to serve as a chaperone for Avery's school field trip to the Strawberry patch.

It was very fun - until we lost Avery and Audrey in the tire maze. Luckily we found them quickly.
Aaron and I were also lucky enough to celebrate his birthday by an adult night out to see Seinfeld.
And last but not least, Kendall completed her First Holy Communion. I can't believe she is this old.

Vegas of Bust

Avery and her dance buddy Ashley.
Kendall and her dance carpool buddy - Ashlynn.
The girls anxiously waiting on warm chocolate chip cookies.

We headed to Vegas over Spring break. After a very tumultuous trip there where mom was separated from the rest of the gang, we met up safely and had fun exploring.
Glow in the dark putt putt.
 Midevil Times.
The Hoover dam is off the bucket list. Very impressive (especially now that I understand power generation a bit more with my new job at the Energy Office).
