The Stockings Were Hung

Santa came a bit early to deliver a trampoline for Christmas. He even send a note for the girls to find in the mailbox explaining that this came early so that daddy and Gpa Bob could set it all up.

The girls entertaining themselves at Christmas Eve mass...they didn't even stay since it was standing room only - daddy and Gpa Bob volunteered to take them home.
But not before we snapped a family picture.
Our beautiful Christmas tree with all the loot.
So much that it spilled over to the mantel.
The stockings all hung with care.

Avery's 5th Birthday

Star, the Elf on the Shelf, left Avery a special note for her birthday.
And Gma Rose made her favorite cake - Angel cake with Cherry Frosting.

We celebrated a week later with friends at Build-a-Bear at the mall.

Birthday Skate Date

We spend early December at the skating rink for a birthday party for a classmate of Avery's. Kendall did a little bit better than Avery, but we all had fun.

We also took part in the annual Lexington Christmas Parade. It was the first time Avery was able to participate with Stepping Out Dance team. She and daddy got to ride the float! This time Kendall and I were there representing Brownie/Daisy Troop 1688.
We have a small troop and most are actually brownies, but it's a great group of girls.
Kendall, Malia, Kennedy, Margaret Rose, and Hope.
