Flower/Garden

It has been quite beautiful here the last week or so...everything is blooming. Rather than simply take pictures of the flowers themselves, I took the opportunity to get some cute pictures of Kendall too.
Even little people need to take time to stop and smell the roses!

Here she is picking flowers (or dandelions) in the yard for daddy. Her vocabulary is really getting better...she has added flower, ball, apple, uh-oh, and shoe to the list of words she can say. She can also point out a lot more things when asked...foot, bunny, socks, balloons, etc.
She also LOVES water. She runs to the tub when you say "bath" and even likes to interrupt my showers. She has also discovered the hose and can spend hours hanging out in the yard.

Here are a few shots of "girls night." We all went out to celebrate Megan's new baby...best baby shower ever!
We had a really nice dinner at a sushi restaurant downtown followed by some drinks.

Today we spent the afternoon planting the garden. We doubled the size of the garden this year. We got cucumbers, corn, radishes, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, beans, squash, peas, basil, onions, and more...some plants, some seed packets. It will be interesting to see what grows.

Kendall had a great time helping out.
