The tops are green, so I experimented with sanding and staining the night stand...not quite sure that I like it...think I should have sanded more. I'll probably end up painting the tops a dark color brown to match the room.
This weekend our friend Brooks came to visit and we went out for one of Aaron's co-workers birthday. The night began with beer pong and then ended at the bar dancing. Aaron had a doctors appointment today (after months of Maeve's nagging) to see what's wrong with him. Despite the obvious - the diagnosis indicates a "severely" deviated septum. One look up his nose and the doctor exclaimed that he and Aaron were sure to be close friends. So, it is a cat scan next week with a nose job to follow. I told him he should go for a smaller version of the schnoz while they are at it - just kidding I love him just the way he is! Although they did offer. The Doctor actually said that this should yeild significant results right away. Maybe now we can both get a good nights sleep.
