Grammy Visits

We had a blast when Grammy came to visit. Too bad so much of the weekend was consumed with house stuff (between the man shed construction and termite inspection). We did manage to get in some other fun activities. Grammy graciously bought Kendall (and us) this bike trailer. Now the fun will really begin. It seats two and has room for storage. I totally plan on taking this to the grocery store on the weekends!
Here is another shot. Styling and profiling!

We happened to ride past the Corley Street Park - only about 1 mile from the house - and they FINALLY got the water feature up and running. You can't really see it here, but it is a palm tree that releases water...so fun! Aaron and Kendall have both been eagerly awaiting this 'grand opening' since visiting early this summer. They've been checking on its status at least weekly since first noticing it. It had been all roped off - not any more!
Here she is in the swing!

And on the cross walk at the park by the elementary school.

Playing the piano for Grammy.

The Zoo. We finally got a membership! Aaron and Kendall have been several times already this year and they are still discovering exhibits. Kendall's latest find was this little shed. She apparently love climbing on the porch.
Of course she loves the cows. She'll even speak to them (by saying moo).

Thought this was super cute.

Aaron said she was terrified of these statues.
One of the few shots of Kendall with Grammy (Grammy took all the pictures). So cute.

Scared of another statue.
We had a great visit. I am sure Grammy was happy to leave all our arguing about the man cave behind. But, the good news is, it is mostly done. And just in time as the Simonds' and Henrys' are leaving tonight to come visit for the weekend. If all goes well they should be here mid-day tomorrow!
