*Note: I seemed to remember this guy from the past, and sure enough he was in the parade in 2008 too.
So classic of the south. Kendall said, "Come on, let's go!
"Ahh, I told you that I was going to be good, mom and dad." We enjoyed some good "beach music" while eating our peach cobbler and bbq sanwiches/hotdogs. Aaron had on his Michigan shirt and Tigers hat and was stopped several times by other Michiganders.
These steps and slide were just her size - she could go up and down all by herself. And, boy did she take advantage and go up and down, and up and down!
Kendall with no annoying mom or dad to hold her back.
We all liked the teetor totter. "Look mom, no hands!"
Daddy playing on the monkey bars.
On the way home we picked up a half peck of peaches to make our own cobbler when Grammy comes on Wednesday.
After the festival and a measly 1 hour nap, we headed for a family bike ride. We decided to go to the elementary school around the corner from us. We were able to get into the playground - which I know is Kendall's new favorite one.
After the park we had some dinner, webcamed with Gma/Gpa and headed out to the Blowfish game. We didn't get any pictures there - mostly because we spent so much of our time trying to wrangle Kendall. But, we did enjoy some boiled peanuts. We stayed till about the 7th inning and then decided to head out of the parking lot to watch the fire works across the street so that we could make a quick get away. Finally, the fireworks started and Kendall was so scared and tired, she sat in her car seat the whole time. She was sacked as soon as we left the parking lot.
