I've got a golden ticket!

It has been awhile since the last post. Not a whole lot to report. Do have some good videos of Kendall. During Gpa Rick and Grammy's last visit to SC they purchased some lotto tickets. Of course Aaron returned the winners and purchased some more. Kendall got in on the action and had fun scratching the tickets and telling us she won "money."

She has also developed several new behaviors - some good, some bad. She has mastered the art of tantrums. In fact, we were 'that family' in Walmart the other day when I made her leave the store without the fire trucks. As evidence we took a video of her at home. To be honest I have no idea what this little fit was about, but darn if every answer to every question isn't "no."

But, with every terrible act she makes us laugh with the next. We went to the library the other day to get some new books. As we are walking in, Kendall was lagging behind. I told her to "hurry up and shake a leg" to which she responds by stopping dead in her tracks and shaking her right leg. So funny!

In other news, Aaron is enjoying coaching JV baseball. Unfortunately it means that Kendall and I have been on our own lately. But, he'll get a reprieve from conditioning soon for a few months before the real season starts up in February. Sadly his age it catching up with him as his poor hands are blistered from swinging a bat and his shoulders hurt from throwing a ball...pathetic. I on the other hand was quite proud of myself this past weekend for embarking on my first zipper replacement for an old duffel bag that Aaron can use for practices. For a mere $3.50 I was able to buy the replacement zipper and recycle a fairly nice bag that Aunt Erin had left for us to get rid of. Sad that the small things in life can sometimes be the biggest achievements.

In other news, Great Gpa Wayne is recovering well from heart surgery. He had a pump installed to replace his failing ticker. Time will tell how well he takes to his new cow aorta and life's adjustments. We are all just glad that the surgery went well.

That is about all our news for now. I had a nice birthday last weekend just hanging out. Looking forward to all that my 30's will bring. Can't wait to meet our new addition - can't believe it is down to just 3 weeks. Really can't wait to have my first Margarita or to wear normal clothes again. Latest doctor's appointment was today. No real update to speak of, barely dilated and still at 70% effaced.
