Going on an Egg Hunt

We've been busy lately and bad at posting updates.
Aaron spend a long weekend in late March in Michigan for the fantasy baseball draft.  The girls and I had fun just hanging out.  They are getting so big!

We went to church with Gma Rose and Gpa Bob for Palm Sunday. Here they are all dressed up in the dresses that the Denja girls once wore.  Gma had fun entertaining them at mass demonstrating how the floor vent could make their dresses blow up.
The next weekend we headed to a time share in Pickens, SC at Table Rock Resort.  We celebrated with baskets and sugar cookies on Easter morning.

While Avery slept, Kendall and I had fun decorating Easter eggs.  Notice the little sponges in the picture below that we used to apply some paint.  We started with six and ended with five after Avery swallowed one upon waking up from her nap.  So much for avoiding any issues by waiting till she was asleep. We aren't entirely sure when/how she passed it, but she didn't seem worse for the wear. When we asked Kendall to confirm Avery had in fact eaten it, she replied yes. When questioned as to why Kendall didn't attempt to stop her, we got nothing.

There was a brief reprieve from the rain such that we enjoyed a quick Easter egg hunt outside.

Here is Kendall counting her eggs.
And a shot of Daddy pretending to be the Easter bunny as he hid them inside the condo.  I believe this is actually when Avery decided to sample the sponge.

I headed back home to work on Sunday night, while Gma, Gpa, Aaron, and girls stayed to enjoy the Greenville children's museum on Monday.  A few days later, we swapped locations and they returned home to visit with the Denjas and Grammie and Gpa Rick.  I then got to enjoy the rest of the week with a few days  away back at the condo as some ladies and I ushered in the inaugural girls weekend away.
