Michigan or Bust!

Here we are on the road to Michigan!
Booger, Gma, and the girls did a great job in the car.
Right before leaving we decided we would hit potty training hard. Here she is practicing.  Avery will be the death of us - STUBBORN as a mule (or her daddy and mommy combined).  But, we are happy to report that she is coming along. We might actually have a shot of her being potty trained in time to go to big girl school in the fall with Kendall.
Kendall is thrilled to be out of the car. We drove all night and got in at about 3:30 am!
We spend Friday at the Denja house just relaxing together.
Erin had a big surprise for everyone! (psst...I knew before anyone else on account of my visit to San Diego in April).
Mikey was very happy with his birthday present.
Kendall shows off her beautiful pedicure.
It was a girl party all around.
And we had to try out the trampoline.
We were quite the gaggle headed down town Plymouth for ice cream.

 Cousin time is the BEST!

On Saturday we headed up north for a wedding. Who knew we would have to cross a car ferry to get there. It was reminiscent of Drummond Island circa 2004.

The girls enjoyed the playground at the church.

Jenna and Tim were so nice to have thought of the kids.
Will Linda and Adam be next?

Couldn't resist this picture of Kendall - I think she makes a great little nerd.
The happy couple! Beautiful couple, beautiful day!
Katie is the best with the girls - even taken time away from her duties as maid of honor to chat.
Avery is quite the party animal.
Not the best picture of our family - but, I think we do clean up pretty good. After the wedding we headed to Grayling for more Denja/Houghten/Redmond time in a cabin we rented...stay tuned for another post for coverage of the rest of the vacation.

As soon as you figure out the house stuff - bring those girls to Michigan for the summer!! Think of all the "me" time you could have Maeve...we'll take good care of them, promise! (Or can't you furlough for the whole summer?!?!)
