But...I think it's the shades that really make the outfit.
We took advantage of Ms Page's offer to babysit Kendall so that Aaron and I could spend a night out at the movies. We decided to watch "Funny People." It was pretty good all told, but fairly long at 3 hours. Apparently Kendall didn't like us being gone too much as she spend some time crying. Poor Ms. Page. I definitely think Kendall is at the stage in which she doesn't like to find herself in unfamiliar territory or with unfamiliar people. I sure hope that things go well when Aunt Erin arrives.
Here is a shot at Kendall practicing sitting up on her own. She is doing pretty well. She is also doing well eating her baby food. I think so far she likes carrots the best. We spent Saturday hanging around the house. We had dinner with the Weidner family who we hadn't seen in quite awhile. We helped to break in their new Wii.
Sunday we woke up and headed to school to help Aaron get ready for Wednesday...his first day back. Since it wasn't much fun for Kendall, we agreed that Monday would just about her.
And, today proved to be the best day of the weekend. We wanted to head to Folly Beach on the coast. But, after deciding that it was too far away, we headed instead to the local beach on Lake Murray - some 10 minutes away. Kendall loved it!
Her she is practicing her kicking.
Her she is practicing her kicking.
As you can see by the sky in this photo, it was a beautiful day to be outside.
Here she is after the swim - pretty tuckered out! Now, we are back at home grilling chicken and veggies for dinner. Aunt Erin should arrive late this evening to start her new role as nanny.
