I think the traditional gift should have been something wood - I got something much better....
Tickets to see Journey play just outside of Atlanta on September 19th!And, today we'll celebrate with friends as we join the gang at the Flying Saucer downtown Columbia to partake in the semi-finals in trivia. Yes, we made it to the semi-finals. The showdown begins today at 4 p.m.
In other news Aunt Erin's first week with Kendall went very well. Not only did Kendall handle it very well, with no awkward adjustment of any meltdowns - so did Aunt Erin! The only thing I feel bad about is the weather. It has been rainy here all week, so they have barely made it out of the house together - other than to get the mail.
We did run a lot of errands this weekend - starting with dinner on Friday night at Chili's and then the farmers market, post office and school shopping on Saturday. Yesterday we also drove out to the boonies to attend a pool party at Aaron's administration's house to ring in the new school year. Kendall really loves to swim!

I hope you can handle the new boss, Erin...I hear she's pretty tough.
