Art Project

I have been searching for a mobile for Kendall for quite some time now. I didn't want to spend a fortune to buy one and the internet search on how to make one seemed all too complicated. However, I spend some time today searching Etsy and was inspired.

The wooden stick base used to be a picture frame that Aaron made for me during his stint as camp counselor the summer after our freshman year at CMU, the ribbons are those that I had laying around that came off of various baby shower presents, and the links I just bought. While it is somewhat crude...I must admit that I am quite proud of how it turned out, if not also just for the pure ingenuity behind it. Best of all she seems to like it so far...

Here is an update on how the garden is looking, although no produce yet...

I snapped this picture of Kendall today on her tummy looking at herself in her book. A cutie-pie indeed!
Here she is enjoying her bouncy chair. I took this shot to use as a comparison...
It is hard to believe that just about two months ago she was this small...

And, lastly, here is a picture of her sucking her thumb while simultaneously rubbing her hair. This is something new...I hope that she doesn't rub a bald spot.

I feel as though I'm being suffocated by cuteness. It is a good thing. We can't wait to see her in person!
