Spring Cleaning

We had a very productive weekend. We spent a lot of time out in the yard just generally cleaning up. We purchased a hedge trimmer and while Kendall and I were away at church, Aaron went crazy! Cutting things back...a little too far. He also mowed, weed-whacked, and trimmed some branches. I cut back the rose bush, spray-painted the patio furniture, and tended the garden. Here is the delicious salad (with lettuce from the garden) that I sampled on Sunday for dinner.

Soon I should have the tomatoes and cucumbers from our very own garden too...along with green beans which are almost ready!

We also fixed the kitchen chairs, generally cleaned up inside, and I finally figured out the converter box...just in time. By the way...we have recently discovered that not only did Kendall inherit her daddy's sleeping genes she also likes some TV just like daddy. We don't have a picture yet, but we'll work on it. She literally strains to see the TV when it is on. I fear that I will come home everyday to 2 couch potatoes this summer.

Speaking off, Kendall and I are about to embark upon our last week together. I have to go back to work on June 8th. I've been trying to catch a picture of her first-thing-in-the-morning smile to save on my desktop at work. I'll be sure to share if I am successfully at retrieving it.
