It was my very first Mother's Day...and what a great day! I got to sleep in...well, sort of...after feeding Kendall at 6:30 I went back to bed and slept till 9:30 a.m. (By the way, I have to brag a bit...she still sleeps about 10 hrs straight every night usually in bed by 8 p.m. and then asleep till between 6 and 7 a.m.)
Aaron made us a breakfast of crepes and cantaloupe. It was delicious! 
Then he mowed the lawn while Kendall and I danced in the living room to the Dixie Chicks. 
In the afternoon, we went to a birthday party for our friend's son Jackson. He turned four on May 5th. We celebrated at the bowling alley. 
Even Kendall got in on the action in the sling.
It was a great day. Tomorrow is Confederate Memorial Day (sadly, a State Holiday!) so I have plans to hang out with some ladies at work. Tuesday I am attending a jewelry party with one of Aaron's coworkers. Aaron has given me permission to buy myself something for Mother's Day. Really, I think I already have the best/only present I could ever ask for.

Looks like you really got the hang of the sling Maeve. I gave up after about the third time the baby fell out.
